  • While working for a client, I had to use Ignite gallery. But its module did not fit with the design and was not working properly. Time was short, and immediately I created a module, Lightimage.

Lightimage is a very simple module with lightbox (jquiry), easy to use.

Simply download Lightimage module and install it (you must have installed Ignite Gallery).

From the module option panel write down the gallery id from your Ignite Gallery’s gallery list.

You have the option to set the thumbnail’s width and height.

Hope, Lightimage module will be helpful for you.

Click here to Download Lightimage module.

  • Creating a keyboard shortcut

    1. Right-click the desktop shortcut, and then click Properties.
    2. On the Shortcut tab, click in the Shortcut Key box.
    3. Press the keyboard combination that you want to use to start the program. The shortcut combination must consist of one character (a letter, number, or symbol) plus at least two of the following three keys: CTRL, ALT, and SHIFT.
    4. Click OK.

    Troubleshooting

    • The default combination is CTRL+ALT; if you press only a character key, Windows XP automatically adds CTRL+ALT. To use other combinations of the three required keys, press those keys before you press the character key.
    • A keyboard shortcut does not work if it conflicts with a keyboard combination that is used in the program that is currently active.

  • PHP4 Vs PHP5

In general when a new software version appears everybody hurries to update it especially if it is for free. PHP 5 has just appeared and it seems that there are people who use the PHP 4 version and others who use the PHP 5 one.

You probably know that PHP 5 is destined for OOP, but it appears that habitual programming can be used too. Moreover, OOP is used in PHP4 as well, with the difference that in PHP5 things are a little more evaluated. This means that in PHP4 safety modes for classes (public, private) are not accepted. In PHP4 the objects are a kind of structures which accept objects and functions as well, according to OOP. In PHP4 they are useful as well. Read the rest of this entry »
